Volunteer Agreement & Form

Regarding the establishment of volunteers to support the FORCE Program organized for Build The City Initiative Inc.

This Volunteer Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between [Name of Volunteer], ("Volunteer"), and Build The City Initiative ("BTCI"), a non-profit organization located at 1870 The Exchange SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions of Volunteer's participation in BTCI as a Career Match, Presenter, or an Internal Task Volunteer.

1. Volunteer's Role
Volunteer agrees to serve as a Career Match, Presenter, or Internal Task Volunteer for BTCI. Volunteer understands and acknowledges that BTCI does not offer any monetary compensation for Volunteer's services.

2. Volunteer Qualifications
Volunteer represents that he/she possesses the necessary qualifications, skills, experience, and knowledge to perform the services as a Career Match, Presenter, or Internal Task Volunteer for BTCI.

3. Compliance with Laws Pertaining to Working with Underage Students
If Volunteer is working with underage students, Volunteer acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws pertaining to working with underage students in the United States, including a background check in the state where you will be volunteering.

4. Confidentiality
Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential and proprietary information of BTCI and its students. Volunteer shall not disclose any such information to any third party without the prior written consent of BTCI.

5. Code of Ethics and Rules and Regulations
Volunteer agrees to abide by the BTCI Code of Ethics and all rules and regulations applicable to volunteers of BTCI. Volunteer understands that failure to comply with any of the rules and regulations, code of ethics, or local, state, and federal laws may result in immediate termination of Volunteer's services with BTCI.

6. Termination
This Agreement shall continue until such time as Volunteer resigns or is asked to leave by BTCI for violating any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the BTCI Code of Ethics, or any local, state, and federal laws.

7. Indemnification
Volunteer agrees to serve as a Career Match, Presenter, or Internal Task Volunteer for BTCI. Volunteer understands and acknowledges that BTCI does not offer any monetary compensation for Volunteer's services.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought in the courts of the State of Georgia.

9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties.

10. Acknowledgment and Signature
Volunteer acknowledges that he/she has read this Agreement, understands its terms and conditions, and agrees to be bound by it.
